Happy Birthday, John!

Today is John's 28th birthday. We had a "surprise" family birthday party last night. We pulled it off somehow without him figuring it out. Ivy Kate was thrilled about eating cake and wanted to eat it before John got home. Isn't his cake cute? It was so good too!

John took IK to preschool today and he called to say she threw a FIT in the parking lot because she didn't want to wear her coat. What a way to begin your birthday!

4 Months Old (A Little Late)

Maggs went for her 4 month check-up a few weeks ago. She did great and only cried for a little bit after the shots. She has started eating rice cereal and seems to like it ok. She is such a sweet baby and loves her sister SO much. She lets IK get away with a lot before she cries.

4 month stats:
12 pounds, 1 ounce
24 1/2 inches long

Ivy Kate loved being Minnie Mouse this year. She had so much fun! She didn't eat anything, but candy for supper last night. When we got home last night, she headed to her room. When I went to check on her, she was in the bed with the covers pulled up...but still in full Minnie Mouse costume!
